WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT & HOW DO WE USE IT?
As a UK registered company M&L Accountants takes data protection very seriously and adheres to all GDPR requirements when collecting personal data. Data is collected in a number of ways which include:
• When you get in contact with us by email or via our forms on our website, we collect your name and email address. By entering personal information into these forms and selecting the “Send” button, you have provided consent of passing information through these systems.
• When you interact with us on social media channels such as, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The data which is recorded will be your name / username and other data which is made public by yourself on these channels.
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service. We store and use your data only when you have given us consent to use it.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?
We will not keep your personal information for any purpose(s) for longer than is necessary and we will only retain the relevant personal information that is necessary in relation to the purpose.
WHERE DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?
The information that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). Where we do so, the third country’s data protection laws will have been approved as adequate by the European Commission, or other applicable safeguards are in place. All personal information is transferred through a non-shared domain. All personal data is stored in encrypted and strong password protected files with a double level of security.
SHARING YOUR DATA?
We will never sell your personal data to a third party and we will never share your personal data with third party organisations without your explicit consent. A third party may be used to process your personal data for example an email newsletter service provider, in this case only your name and email address will be shared with your consent for the sole purpose of delivering the email newsletter to you.
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
